The elf Frieren and her assistant Fern head north in search of the land where the souls of heroes are said to rest. But in this land is also the Castle of the Demon King. When they arrive they will realize that everything has changed and that, although the Demon King is long gone, his minions still want to resolve some issues from the past with our elf.
